Here is a list of my Public Commissions. They are listed in chronological order



The City of Port St. Lucie, Florida has acquired Wertheimer’s 72-inch (1.8 meters) sculpture, Airborn, for the newly completed 100,000 sq/ft multipurpose facility “Port St. Lucie Civic Center”. The sculpture was installed in December of 2008.

My three chinese agents visited me in Boca Raton, Florida and bought 13 sculptures including two large sculptures for their exhibition in Singapore and six for Shanghai.

A four-figure, nine-foot (2.7 meters) bronze sculpture titled, Celebration, won a prestigious competition sponsored by the Commission of the Arts and Humanities for the Washington DC East Gate Condominium. The sculpture was installed in 2008.

Caftan, a 50-inch (1.5 meters) bronze sculpture won a competition from the Public Art Program Commission of the City of Palm Desert, California.

Airborn, a 72-inch (1.8 meters) bronze sculpture won a competition and is installed at the newly built Civic Center Library in Livermore, California.

Gordon Gamm of Boulder, Colorado acquired Paolo and Francesca, 63 inches (1.6 meters) as a centerpiece for a waterfall at his home. A second sculpture, Sea Nymphs, 60 inches (1.5 meters) has also been installed. A third sculpture, Folklorique, 72 inches (1.8 meters) has recently been acquired.

Two sculptures titled, Reaching, 72 inches (1.8 meters) and Melee/Football, 60 inches (1.5 meters) are installed at Douglas Hospital in Verdun, Canada.

Dancer with Ribbon II, 72 inches (1.8 meters) was installed at Loto Quebec’s Casino in Montreal, Canada.

Leonard and Audrey Goodfriend of Boca Raton, Florida acquired Paolo and Francesca, 63 inches (1.6 meters) for their private collection.

Caftan with Ribbon, 78 inches (2 meters) was installed at the Itami City Cultural Hall in Hyogo prefecture, Japan.

Marvin Friedman of Delray Beach, Florida acquired Paolo and Francesca, 63 inches (1.6 meters) for his private collection.

The City of Port St. Lucie, Florida has acquired Wertheimer’s 72-inch (1.8 meters) sculpture, Born Free, for their newly built Community Center.

Two sculptures titled, Folk Dancers and Melee/Football, were the first sculptures to be inaugurated into the "Rose Miller Sculpture Garden" at Maimonides Hospital in Montreal, Canada.

Seven Dancers, 9 feet (2.7 meters) is installed at Okaloosa-Walton Community College in Niceville, Florida.

Grace, 50 inches (1.3 meters) and Paolo and Francesca, 63 inches (1.6 meters) are installed at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa.

Paolo & Francesca, 40 inches (1 meter) installed at Okayama Municipal Center in Okayama, Japan.

Three Children at Play with Hoops, 90 inches (2.3 meters) installed in front of a Health Care Center in Kyoto, Japan.

Water Babies, a 23-foot (7.1 meters) sculpture is located at the Royal Palm Plaza in Boca Raton, Florida.

Ascendence, 70-inch (1.8 meters) bronze sculpture - won competition for the Hikifune Cultural Center, located in Sumida-Ku, Tokyo, Japan.

Three Children at Play with Hoops, 60 inches (1.5 meters) installed in Fukushima, Japan at the 21st Century Forest Park.

Airborn and Madre in Alto were acquired by Yumeji Museum in Okayama, Japan.

First Step, Madre in Circolo, and Madre in Alto - a commission for "ESTE" Condominium's outdoor park in Mutsuura, Kanagawa-ken.

Grace and Merle, two 51-inch (1.3 meters) bronze sculptures for the Katsushika Performing Art Center in Tokyo, Japan.

Born Free, a 72-inch (1.8 meters) bronze sculpture installed in the newly built athletic centre in the City of Hamura, Tokyo.

Primavera, a 13-foot (4 meters) bronze sculpture installed in front of the new Fukuoka City Hall in Fukuoka, Japan.

Caftan, a 50-inch (1.3 meters) bronze sculpture installed in the Hakone Open-Air Museum in Kanagawa-ken, Japan.

The Family, a 10-foot (3.1 meters) steel sculpture for the Sun Bank in Palm Springs, California.

Paolo & Francesca, a 10-foot (3.1 meters) fiberglass sculpture installed in the Atrium of Alcan Aluminum Limited, Montreal, Canada.

Paolo & Francesca, a 10-foot (3.1 meters) sculpture at the Glouster City Hall for the Carling Park of Commerce in East Ottawa.

The original casting of Paolo & Francesca, a 10-foot (3.1 meters) sculpture, was dedicated to the Dallas Ballet Company in Dallas, Texas.

The Family, a 10-foot (3.1 meters) steel sculpture installed in front of the Joliette Museum in Joliette, Quebec.

A 30-foot (9.2 meters) stainless steel sculpture, Adam & Eve, for Carling Executive Park, Ottawa.

An eight-foot (2.5 meters) sculpture, Three Children at Play, was selected by the Quebec Cultural Affairs Department "Integration of Arts and Architecture" program to grace the new Cote St-Luc City Hall and Library in Montreal.
